When you and your bridal party are the center of attention, it's a great feeling to know that we've taken extra time and care to make sure your dresses look like they were made especially for you! There are a few things to remember when you and your party are getting fitted or altering your Alexia Designs dress.
Because special occasion dresses don't fit like regular clothing, we recommend using a professional seamstress or your Alexia retailer for the correct fit. To get a more precise measurement, do not use bra or clothing sizes. The person measuring you will measure you over your undergarments. They will adjust accordingly if you have a large cup size or have a wide back. Your Alexia dealer can help you order the size that is best for you. Different styles of gowns fit various body types differently so don't be alarmed if your measurements show a larger size than you normally wear. It is very rare for measurements to fall exactly in one size. Your dress consultant will help you determine which size would be easiest to alter. Remember it is a lot easier to alter a dress down than to let it out! Good intentions to lose weight are great, but please don't overestimate your diet program.
Dress Lengths
We offer several dress lengths - knee, tea, floor as well as sweep trains on various dress styles. All of our bridesmaid dresses except style 1910 are available in extra length. Please contact your Alexia consultant for additional charges that may apply.
Flower Girl and Junior Bridesmaids
We are pleased to offer both flower girl and junior bridesmaid dresses. Flower girl dress sizes range from 2T to 12. Our junior dresses are size 4 through 16. Please visit with your Alexia retailer for sizes, styles and prices.
Mother of the Bride
Our Giovanna Mother of the Bride line is stunning. Any mother would be proud to wear a Giovanna dress. Please check with your participating Alexia retailer for fabrics, colors, and sizes.
Blush Prom
We are proud and excited to announce the debut of our newest line - Blush Prom! These dresses will make any girl look and feel fabulous. They are available from size 0 thru 30. Please check with a participating Alexia dealer for more information.
